I went to a garden center on Monday.

Girl at the front tells me I am not allowed in unless I have a mask on.

I tell her that she is not telling the truth, as the local health officials explicitly state in their Covid by-laws that some people are mask exempt and not required to wear a mask. I tell her I am mask exempt.

She pretends she has never heard of mask exemptions in the by-law, so I tell her I am going inside anyways and if she wants, she can have the store owner come and talk to me.

Then, I get a rainbow flag wearing, soy boy that spots me and starts arguing with me.
Again, I question him and point out that their are mask exemptions in the by law.

He responds by telling me it doesn't matter and I shouldn't be outside if I can't wear a mask.

So, I tell him that he can't pick and choose which portions of the by-law he wants to follow.
And I continue shopping.

Yes, they knew they were wrong.
And yes, they eventually left me alone.

Don't let these Communists control your life.
They are control freaks and have no respect for anyone.

Know the law, know your rights and speak up.

Always print out the by-law within the region that you are traveling or living in.
Carry it with you and show it to anyone who demands you wear a mask.
The by-laws, regardless of the region, all have exemptions.

Show them the law.
Demand that the law be respected.
Tell them they are not permitted to refuse your mask exemption.
Tell them they are breaking the law by demanding you wear a mask.

If they threaten to call the police, don't budge.
Wait for the police to arrive and politely deal with them.
Show the officers the by-law and the mask exemptions within the by-law.
Tell the officers you are mask exempt.

I have never lost any confrontation over mask enforcement.
And I have been in dozens of them.
Won every time.

I shop at Walmart, Home Depot, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire and all of them eventually accept my mask exemption.
Be informed.
Be polite.
Be consistent and persistent.
Show them the by-law
Demand that they accept your mask exemption.

A manager at Food Basics apologized to me the other day for asking me about my mask exeption.
He knows me.
And he knows I know the by-law exemptions very well.
So, when he talks to me, he always apologizes for asking me about my non-mask, grocery shopping visit.

The manager knows I won't back down from his demands.
And so he has accepted my visit as I choose to make it.

Don't ever back down from these Communists.
They are pure evil.
They want to see you dead and your children dead.
And they will do anything to kill you and your family.

Could today’s version of America have been able to win World War II? It hardly seems possible.

That victory required national cohesion, voluntary sacrifice for the common good and trust in institutions and each other. America’s response to COVID-19 suggests that we no longer have sufficient quantities of any of those things.

In 2020 Americans failed to socially distance and test for the coronavirus and suffered among the highest infection and death rates in the developed world. Millions decided that wearing a mask infringed their individual liberty.

...experts now believe that America will not achieve herd immunity anytime soon. Instead of largely beating this disease it could linger, as a more manageable threat, for generations. A major reason is that about 30% of the U.S. population is reluctant to get vaccinated.
