Are there other forms of session notes besides SOAP and CARE?
If so, do you know of any info on the web? I found this about SOAPs. http://www.massagemag.com/Magazine/2001/issue94/advice94.php
It says if you do a lot of spa stuff, you dont have to have as in depth charting. Actually, I think the article contradicts itself a bit. In one part, it says SOAPs are a legal way of stating what your hands are doing, that it is a contract between us and the client, and if anything goes wrong and we are sued, the SOAP is proof of what we did. Then, it goes on to mention that in a spa setting, noting oil scents and music is enough. WTF? What do oil scents and music have to do with our hands?
Do you do something different than SOAP or CARE? If so, what do you do?
Is there anyone else out there who hates SOAP notes? Or maybe I am just doing them wrong?
