FEEDING HILLS, Mass. (WWLP) - State police detectives along with Homeland Security raided the Feeding Hills Spa on Tuesday. Friday, the Hampden County District Attorney's office announced they made an arrest. 50 year old Chun Nu Li of Agawam was arrested on the suspicion of human trafficking for sexual servitude.
This was the result of a five month investigation into prostitution and human trafficking allegations at the Feeding HIlls Spa. State Police executed search warrants at both the spa at 1226 Springfield Street and a private residence at 1162 Springfield Street on Tuesday.
Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni stated, โHuman trafficking is an especially detestable crime, which preys on vulnerable people for the financial profit of the perpetrator. The Hampden District Attorneyโs Office and its law enforcement partners are committed to stopping this form of exploitation and firmly applying the law to these offenders."
Two human trafficking victims were identified during the search and reunited with their family.
Chun Nu Li was arrested by the New York State Police in Flushing, NY and is expected to be returned to Massachusetts to face these charges soon.
In a separate investigation conducted by the Attorney General's office, four people were arrested on human trafficking charges at massage parlors across the state on Tuesday, including businesses in Hadley, Northampton, Agawam and East Longmeadow.
