asking a girl to introduce you to her friend? bad/good idea?

so this girl recently started to text me again ( i never text her she alwyas texts first) and shes a grade lower than me. I never talk to her but im nice to her but i think her friends real cute and when i asked her what she did for the weekend she mentioned her friends name and i asked if she was good friends with her. she said yeah and asked why but i said i was just wondering and she replyed with "okay " so im thinking about asking her to introduce me to her? Her friend added me on facebook a month bak but i never talked to her (dont really like getting to know people through online) but its eitehr i do that or get introduced. What do you guys think? Only thing is i always thought this girl that txt me likes me but i kidna show that im not interetsed. What should i do?
