Asshole at SRM

I had scheduled an appointment to see Mina at SRM at 11:30 on Saturday evening. When I got there I was told that she was already with someone. Apparently some fuckface walked in, took one glance at the appointment book and said he was me and was a little early. I ended up seeing nobody as Mina was booked for the rest of the evening and everyone else was busy.

To the fuckface who stole my appointment: may you develop a severe case of genital herpes.

To SRM : I drove 30 minutes to get there for my appointment. I think something more should've been offered rather than a simple "sorry this happened to you". I've seen many girls at SRM in the past and I don't think I'll be a client of yours anylonger.

Why didn't you? Were you scared or something like he might turnout to be a 6'6 mean biker with his three budies. And how do you knwo that is exactly what happened? Maybe it was the receptionist that bumped you... Anything is possible. Just think of it this way - he saved you about $150.

It is generally not surprising for an MPA to take on some walk-in just shortly before an appointment. This is the way the MPA is sure of having a session b/c there is always risk that the one with the appt don't show. But normally it just delayed your appointed session. Though not good for the client who honors the appointment but they get away with it. SRM is no exception. We don't know who is at fault in your case but for Mina to skip your appointment all together is BAD customer service - either there're not honoring your appointment or telling you someone stole your appointment and it's just too bad.

That sounds pretty bad. Unfortunately this business is money-driven. These girls basically work on commission.

But one can't exactly open up a salary-based spa because then some girls would work more than others depending on their popularity, while those girls who work less earn the same amount.

Although formulas could be worked out and the girls who worked less would get paid less than those who worked more. But then we're back to squre one and it's still like commission.

I guess we should only make an appointment if we really mean to show up.

How can u exactly determine that the particular client did this, it may be the establishment who must have given your appointment to another guy. As they always ask for your name, & few details of your booking, clarify with the concerned MP & sort out this matter with them, as they are fully responsible for your appoitment & not any client, who can just walk-in and take it, its not so easy at all. Hope SRM being run by a professional owner would definitely compensate your grevience's if any in a fair an amicable manner.

Agree. It isn't easy to just walk in and steal someone else's appointment. the appointment sheet is not usually in public view. So you need help from either the receptionist, the management person on site or maybe the MPA (sometimes they do have some say) to get in. So it was either a case of carelessness on the part of the person taking the other guy to the room, or they are doing someone a favor (like a regular VIP client) and slipping him in between appointments. So poor mass drove all the way there for nothing. This makes appointment a pretty meaningless thing to do if they are not honoring it.

most people dont use their real names so how do you prove who actually made the appointment ? That appointment book should be kept behind the desk and customers shouldn't be allowed to view it. You dont go to the dentist office or whatever and ask the receptionist to hand over the appointment book and you'll pencil youself in...

Sounded like they just allowed someone to steal your appointment and told you that's too bad? Wonder if they tried to say anything to that guy when he came out of the session? If pre-booked sessions can be stolen just like that, why pre-book then? Sounded risky to me.

It's always in your interest to arrive 10 minutes early for an appt.

My second or third appt with Maya @ A & R I arrived at the same time as another client. He asked for Maya and Angelo assumed the client was me. Fortunately Maya was sitting right there and knew my name.

After that I learned to arrive early so nobody queue jumps me, intentionally or otherwise.
