Just returned from my first trip to Los Cabos. Quick 4-day weekend vacation not with the *intent* of mongering; but you know how that goes.

I had heard all the good/bad hype from everyone for years. Its all true. Beautiful place/nice people/expensive tourist traps/redicuously priced p4p.

My 2 cents...

Every place that is a tourist trap will have local bargains if you jump off the regular path.

Stayed at a nice resort, but it was full of families/couples/fat chicks. Much of the same in the touristy nightclubs. Visited a few strip clubs and wasted wayyy to muchmoney on lap dances. Got quoted laughable prices by strippers for full service.

Finally found EL TORO a few blocks away from the tourist traps, around the corner from some gay club. Good burritos outside. Place was filled with rancheros. Puro Espanol. There were about a dozen girls and I liked two of them. Negotiated 30 for room and 60 for an hour with one of them. Not an awful price. Massage + bj + good sex. Good service.
