MUNCIE, Ind. – Authorities say when an undercover Delaware County sheriff’s deputy visited a downtown Muncie massage parlor this week, the two women working there each offered him a “special” deal.
In addition to a “normal” massage – for advertised rates of $60 for an hour, or $40 for 30 minutes – 53-year-old Guilan Peng and 38-year-old Baucui Yang both offered to also massage the deputy’s genitalia for an additional $40, investigators said.

The deputy – who recorded his visit to the parlor, at 320 W. Adams St., Sheriff Ray Dudley said Wednesday – didn’t take advantage of the special.
Several of his colleagues raided the business on Wednesday afternoon, and arrested Peng and Yang.
They were later preliminarily charged with prostitution, and released from the Delaware County jail about 10 p.m. after posting $2,500 bonds.
Dudley said the arrests followed an investigation of four to six months into allegations “a little more than massages” were taking place in the business at 320 W. Adams St.
The sheriff said his department’s probe began based on complaints by local residents and information provided by Star Press reporters.

News media accounts indicate Peng was one of three women arrested in November 2014 in a police raid of a massage parlor in Nashville, Tenn.
That raid, at the Green and King Massage Spa in the Nashville neighborhood of Green Hills, also resulted in prostitution charges.
A man alleged to be the operator of the Nashville parlor, Hu Rui, then 27, was also arrested.
Dudley said Peng and Yang appeared to have limited understanding of English after their Wednesday arrests, prompting authorities to seek an interpreter.

Nashville authorities in 2014 said Peng and her female co-defendants were believed to be from China, and did not appear to speak English.
Court records reflect no previous criminal charges against Peng or Yang in Indiana.
