Bac is killing after bending over and picking up a large can of tomato juice.. help

[sm=cry.gif]Hi there.. I am in so much pain. The pain is across the upper lower of my back. Any time I move my body the pain covers all of that region. It does not help to lay down and is worse when I stand up. Real worse. I am bent over and the front of my hips ache too. I am on Robaxisal C 1/4 it does not help at all. Ocycocet does a bit for a half hour but if I move a certain way then the Ocycocet does not work. I am imobolized almost completly. Heat soothes the area as well as absorbinjunior. Just for awhile and then I have to reapply it again. Would you have any suggestions for me? It is now my third day. Thank You... God Bless.. Vacinity

You poor thing. I did something similar after lifting six bottles of mineral water!

I had a heated wheat cushion that I kept pressed against it, which was quite good. I used to find putting a few drops of Eucalyptus oil in the bath worked quite well. It just goes by itself, but will probably take about two weeks.

Once it had got a lot better I started doing very gentle yoga and that was also a great help.

Hope it improves soon.

There you go, he's my secret and the best £40 I spend. I am not sure of your med hist but I urge you go to your closest.

For now though keep the heat on it to increase the blood flow then an ice pack to reduce the swelling. At night, place a pillow between your knees, this will equalise your pelvis and aid the repair work.

Hi there the both of you.. thnkx 4 posting back to me. I appreciate it very much. I am no better today even though I slept. The meds I am taking is A.S.A. Tylonol and a muscle relaxent combintion although it does not nothing for me at all. I can't believe it does not. I guess I will just have to wait. Can't walk but to the powder room that;s all.. thnk u again and both of u take care[sm=sandrine.gif]

Hi.. today I am having another problem.. when I even move my neck the pain statrs and when I get up from sleeping I can't move. Is this part of the type of back injury I jave? Thank YOu everyone for your help.[sm=sandrine.gif]

Go back & see your GP, as this certainly sounds like a lumbar disc prolapse, and possibly one that may need referral to a neurologist. If you're in the US, then see an osteopathic doctor (DO).
