Back from the AoR conference!

From a previous post I don't think anyone else was going ot the Association of Reflexologists conference in Warwick so I just wanted to report back to you all and tell you how fab it was!!! In total I think there were around 400 reflexologists there which was great in itself as there was such a happy, positive atmosphere. The AoR did a great job of organising it and the talks and workshops were of a very high standard (much better than most I've been to). Over the 2 days I attended workshops and talks with Suzanne Enzer (the "hormone hat" - excellent!!), Ann Gillanders, Inge Dougans, Lynne Booth, Hanne Marquardt (& found out that even though she's from Germany she trained as a nurse in the early 1950's at Hitchin Hospital - in my little town!!!), and Dr Christine Page (who was truly inspirational) to name just a few. We also learnt about doing research and heard about how the Reflexology Forum is getting on.

As it was such a success I'm sure the AoR will run the even again and I for one will be there!

That sounds excellent Sarah. Thought of going, but it was a bit far for me. Was also worried if might be a bit dull, listening to talks for two days! Did you get to do much practical work too?

What synchronicity - first post i read from my HP sabbatical - glad you had a great time, sounds wonderful Sarah - yes I loved the hormone hat too - she is such a dear & does it soo well ! I think I'll start practising ready to put on the 'hormone hat' show for my 11 year old daughter & her daddy !
Igne Dougans - fascinating - I did a course few years back with her & I learnt much from her research . ..ooOh how i wish Id forced myself into prioritising a good learning time as opposed to bad finances !
