Back pain assittance needed please

Hi wonder if anyone can give me some advice on sciatica, i feel like i am falling apart at mo,
i have spasms in my neck which is being treated with physio, but now my back is painful.
finding it hard to move around, i know they say its not good to sit but to keep active with
a back problem.
So if anyone has any advice would be most grateful thank u in advance.

Sorry to hear about your problems.
I am trained in the Bowen Technique and must say that this type of pain usually responds very well to this very gentle, hands on technique.
Do have a look on Google for Bowen Technique or Bowen Therapy and you will find lots of information that may be of benefit - especially if you've never heard of Bowen. Also have a look at this site under the Bowen Technique.
There are two main training associations for Bowen Technique in the UK (if this is where you are based?) and both have websites listing qualified therapists

It's certainly worth trying and sooner rather than later! I find that sciatica and muscular pains respond especially quickly when they have been short lived. People who have had these problems for years take longer to treat as their bodies have adapted to the pain which may mean that their bodies use other muscles to compensate - with knock on effects throughout the body.
Bowen works to help the body regain the state of balance that it has lost.

You could also use Raindrop, which uses essential oils to realign the spine, and is particularly useful for this kind of pain. Additionally there is an adaptation to this that uses oils and massage to specifically work the sciatic points. I have seen amazing results with both.

If you happen to be anywhere near Camden you should try going into Kieser Training. I had a very bad back problem to the point where if i'd let it slide i'd be unable to walk right now. If you can get to them go in and find out about them because i believe they could help you a lot.

I would recommend placing several biomagnets with the negative side towards your body along the sciatic nerve, wear the magnets during the day and sleep on a magnetic pad with negative towards the body as this will bathe your whole body in a negative magnetic field.

Where pain is felt the area is often acidic, by placing the negative side of a magnet to the area you will create an alkaline enviroment and this may help relive the pain.

You can use magnets along with other therapies as it should not affect them.

I have treated a work colleague that suffered with sciatica and the magnets greatly reduced the pain.

It is important that the magnets have the negative side towards the body and not the positive side.
