Bad breath - What's Going on??

What's up with the ladies particularly Asian and bad breath? For me it's a huge turn off. I always brush well, floss, mouthwash, chew gum etc before seeing anyone. I've seen almost all Asian providers in Edmonton and have noticed this with many of them. It's gotten to a point where I would almost prefer if they just kept the mask on.. Has anyone else noticed this?

I won't name and shame but this applies to some big names on this forum... Legit, semi legit, and full service alike.

Maybe, but it does stick with you for a day or two. I know it does with me so I try to avoid dishes with a lot of garlic.

They do eat garlic in the morning. Breakfast could be fish or meat and vegetables with rice. Cereal or toast is not a chinese breakfast.

That's very interesting, didn't know about the breakfast. I had an appointment recently in the AM and couldn't believe the breath smell. Compete turn off IMO..

Honestly I’ve never noticed any bad breath! Maybe my nose not working? Or their mouths are further along down the body lol!

These observations are interesting but like in any situations involving general characterizations, not applicable on a case by case basis. Not any different than non-Europeans who found that Europeans, mostly unbathed smelt bad or that they used cologne to mask their lack of hygiene.

I've had greater challenges with home based Asian masseuses where the stale smell of various culinary activities in their home kitchen invaded the massage room. But have not encountered many with BO or bad breath due to their food choices.

I have dated a few Asian girls over the years and sometimes you will see a lack of deodorant if they are new to Canada. In their country they didn't need it, but there's something weird about the climate here. I've ran into this with my relatives visiting from Europe as well. I buy them a stick and sometimes a winter coat for when they get off the plane lol. But I haven't ran into any bad breath.

Looks like it's very common these days. Each and every sexy lady that I have seen from the Asian demographic has bad breath. Only exception is Winky/Helen

I have read in other forums and people indicated it could be Helicobacter pylori (HPylori). It's a very common thing to have for people living in developing countries and very easy to get rid off.

Possibly many of them have tripled their daily garlic intake in order to ward off the covid scourge sweeping across China. In many provinces the infection rate in past 2 weeks is as high as 70% to 80%. 50% is almost the norm. Many living in Canada are still tied to news from home, and panic news on forums like WeChat. More elderly CPC leaders have died in past month than in past three years. Lockdowns did not work out. Totally useless response to respiratory viruses.

I've seen many Latina and white providers and have never experienced something similar to the stench of the Asian breath. The garlic intake theory definately makes sense. I've been asking some well known ladies to keep their masks on.

It's becoming a problem though and is increasingly a turn off.

I went to Perfect Match Studios a while back and the attendant that I had was absolutely stunning, perfect everything. However when she was up close and spoke it was a mix of garlic and fish. Possibly the worst I've smelt so far
