Bamboo Sheets

Has anyone tried using bamboo fiber sheets? Target sells them (70% bamboo) and Bed Bath & Beyond has them too (100%). I have heard reviews from people who have used them for bedding. I'm wondering if anyone here has used them in their practice.

I have not used them, but I have to say that they feel pretty soft in the store

One of my friends bought the set from Bed Bath & Beyond and I couldn't believe how incredibly soft they are! She bought them for home use. They're a little pricey for work IMO. I guess if you want to truely spoil your clients??

I have heard they are super soft too. I wonder if they would be difficult to work with when it came to draping.

A member of the Yahoo! BodyWork group says that the bamboo sheets stain easily and don't wash out, even when using jojoba oil. She also says that the fabric is so fine that it is see-through to the point of being able to count arm hairs.

They are similar to other rayon sheets and textiles. Soft, but thin, very wrinkly, probably not well-suited to massage.

I heard they were thin, but the reviews I read said they were a lot less wrinkly than regualr cotton sheets.

Maybe a bamboo cotton blend would be less see through than 100% bamboo.

I use these sheets and I have found that they are not nearly as wrinkly as 100% cotton sheets. So, far mine have not stained but I wash them in very hot water which I think helps. They are thin so a blanket over them is a must. The only complaint I would have about them is that they tend to stick to the client a bit when they are flipping over. But otherwise they are sooo soft and people seem to like them.
