Bang Tao BARS?

Hi guys,

This is my first post here. Cool Forum!

Im coming to PHuket this Dec, probably staying at Sheraton Grande. Any bars nearby? How far is the Bangla Rd from Bang Tao?

Do you have any recommendation for 'hotel service'? How much is the rate going now for ST? does it mean short time as in once cum then that's it?

hi phoo,the hotel you mention is in bang tao bay which is quite a way from any decent nightlife !
(if thats what you are looking for)
the main area for nightime shennanigans is patong (bangla road to be precice!,especially at the mai tai bar in soi-eric ,which is where the board members hang out (nicke owns the bar and this site too--check out the live web-cam)
also the sheriton is a very upmarket establishment, and as such probably wont allow you to bring a "friend"back for the nighti its too far away from the action anyway ,a b/g wouldnt want to travel that far
iwould recomend finding a girl friendly hotel nearer to/in patong or your in for a very quiet stay
s/t is about 500bht l/t about 1000bht plus the bar-fine of about 200bht
s/t doesn,t mean once only-- although i always go l/t so i dont really know! so save your money and book a cheaper alternative in patong ,or book the sheriton and also a cheapy in patong too for your mongering activities cheers andy--(ps--the price for the sheriton doesnt include vat or sevice charge!another 17% on top!!--you velly litch maaan!

The Sheraton is set in with several other high end hotels in Bang Tao and they are NOT GF.They will supply a hotel limo to get you into Patong Beach but you cannot bring company back.The nearest village is called Chern Talay and it does have some small bars and eateries but no action.mg:

Holy cow! Looks like it will be lonely nights for me at Sheraton!
I dont have a choice though coz this was a free accomodation I won in a raffle. I dont want to spend additional for Hotel at Patong though.

Any chance to call anybody that will provide "hotel Service" ???
What about the Yellow pages in the hotel, will that contain some info of the hotel service im looking for? geez.. I dont want to spend some coldnights alone!

i dought if you will be able to get a girl past security at the hotel. thats the problem
the only thing you can do is try to bribe the security guard --money talks in thailand and anything can be had for the right price,
but having said that, it would be less hassle renting a short time room in patong ,or you could find a b/g who has her own room that you could both go back to ?--there are some bars in karon too, which is closer to your hotel i went with a few girls from there a few years back -- cheers

if you want to be in the thick of the action then you might as well just rent a room in patong cus you'll find it will be very annoying after a while going back and forth all way back to the Sheraton several times a-day if you won it in a raffle then you haven't really lost anything any way, check into the Sheraton see if you like it, but i can see you moving after a few days around Bangla Rd if you are like most of the other bm's who like to be in the middle of it all.

go down to tinlay place,where all the bars and restaurants are...go to the middle bar,you will get assistance.take one back to hotel.get dropped of at the dusit.walk down the side to the beach,and go into the sheraton via the beach entrance.

I didn't know Hotels in Phuket particularly Sheraton Grande has a very srict security that won't allow Girls to walk to the rooms? Do they have ways to know whether she's a BG?

How far is the Karon from Bang Tao beach? What about Patong hotspot, how many mins drive if Im thanking a tuktuk?

In the area before you go into the Laguna complex there are three pubs and some bars. There are some naughty massage places and as mentioned earlier the middle bar has a couple of lookers but not anything like the nightlife of Patong. Kamala is closer if you don't want to go as far as Patong and there are places there as well, my friends have told me
