Bars in Phuket Town...

I'd like to get everyones opinion on where are good bars in Phuket Town...

I personally like Timber Hut, and Sofa for nights out with a few mates, also Bossy... But sometimes I like to go out wonder around on my own and try to discover new bars... I went in to one the other day and it was crap.. no body there and took ages to pay the bill.. it was called Jammin... not sure how they can afford to stay open as it was totally empty.. I also found a nice little ENglish bar the other day called Michael's Bar...

Can anyone recommend any good bars? some nice ones for a quiet drink but also some with cute girls to talk to...

Fantasia.

Jamming used to be popular many years ago.

If I go Phuket Town, which is very rarely, it is most likely Fantasia or Pink Lady. I guess its 8 years ago I visited Timber Hut last time. (Which was packed that time)

Have a look at Blue Marine it's usually packed with Thais and there's a group of pubs near the Mazda dealership which apparently are good value. Need TR of Phuket Town.

Yeah i went to Pink Lady a few weeks ago and thought it was crap.. all the girls there just looked like they wanted to go home.. not my cup of tea...

yeah timber hut is still jam packed most nights..

been meaning to go to fantsia.. is it very costly there? how much is a beer? etc?

Fantsia is very expensive if a lady sits with you it costs, depends how much you drink etc. Get there early last time I went we arrived after a bus load of Koreans came through and cleaned out 40 girls I think it was around 10.30pm. Take a bottle and you might save on booze.

sometimes one wonders if some believe that Phuket Town is the same as Patong, quite fun to see these older +40 slipping around on night clubs in Phuket Town where the average age is 18-23 and think it is as easy to pick up girls there as Patong, while where the girls just laugh at these lonely wretch however, it is very entertaining anyway.

Sofa is a good place, packed when I went there couple months ago.

Have to agree with falkis. Saw some morons grab a girls ass in Gor Tor Mor. She was more than pissed (and lost a lot of face). Cops came and took charged the guys.
