bbbj info - my thoughts

I have been reading the bbbj thread with interest over the past few days, and a couple of thought popped into my head. Obviously, my first though was "wish I could get that info as well". Then my second thought was, while ever on the search for the elusive extra extras, they tend to be more enjoyable when they are a surprise and not expected. Not that I would turn down the info, but it is more enjoyable (although much more expensive during the search) to be surprised. I think this is also part of the reason I like to try un-reviewed MP's and MPA's. Allways on the look out for the surprise hidden gem (not for the extras, just for the surprise of finding someone beautiful and pleasant at an unreviewed location). I will start posting reviews of my never ending quest soon.......

and btw, welcome to the board.

For most of my hobbying "career", much of my enjoyment stemmed from that very element, the "hunt", the "surprise", the discovery of a "hidden gem".

But, for me at least, that part of the hobby has lost a bit of its lustre over the years. I'll still go and try something unknown, unreviewed, etc, but far less often than I once might have.

I try to make my hobbying selections based on information that will at least ensure that my hard-earned $$$'s won't be wasted. Even then, the "surprise" element remains, at least the first time you see a given SP/MPA and the "risk" element of having a poor experience is reduced.

While it's all well and good that you are looking for a surprise - what about the rest of us??? Huh?? Did you forget to share some of theose gems with us? C'mon, maybe the rest of us don't like surprises as much as you do.
