I recently got myself some solo HD beats by dre and i decided to use the on my ps3 so i bought a USB Soundcard which is this one

i connected it to my ps3 and then connect my audio cable that came with the beats by dre which has a mic to talk. so when ever i talk on the ps3 it sound really low is it because the soundcard is broken or because the mic i have is cheap and i need to buy a new one . please help
