Bell's Palsy...what should I do?

Hey yall! I was referred to someone who recentlly was struck with Bell's Palsy. BP is when a nerve gets inflammed and results in partial paralysis of the face. I was told by a friend who is a physical therapist to give her a face and neck massage. I was just wondering if yall have any suggestions other than that of my friend. C-Ya!  ???

Yes, by all means include address of the face, neck, scalp but I would suggest you include it along with a full body massage.  Massage of the entire body helps them to reconnect and remember they are an entire person on your table. Our face is how we present ourselves to others and to have that changed is very disturbing and depressing. BTW: make sure you stay clear of the eye if its affected. They may not be able to open/close the lid and may have diminished tear capabilities. That is one of the biggest complications of Bell's Palsy is corneal ulcers d/t lack of blink/lubrication to it. Hope this helps.
