Best 90 minute value ?

It seems to me that many MPs structure their rates to encourage a 60 minute session vs just a 30 minute quickie. Makes sense. Increase revenue on a per customer basis.
However, there seems to be less interest in making a 90 minute rate a reasonable upgrade from a 60 minute. Example.
30 minutes = $150
60 mins = $200 (an extra $50 for the extra half hour).
but
90 mins = $300 or even $350 (as in full price for 30 plus full price for 60)
This just doesn't make sense to me, unless the SP prefers to limit the MSOG time window.
For me, I like to take my time with foreplay and mutual massage which means there is no time for 2nd shot in an hour. Maybe if we hurried up the first effort but I usually prefer the slow and gradual.

I recently tried out Temptations in Richmond. The rates are as per their website and they offer a 90 min session for $260 (60 - $210, 45 = $190, 30 = $160).
I'd like to see more MPs and indys offer a 90 minute rate that has a step increase in line with the 30 to 60 upgrade.

Isn't it true that the typical AMP "hour" rate is really only 45 min? I seem to recall it was true at the few AMPs I visited. If that is the case, if you asked for 90 min it would seem like they may charge 2 x that "hour" rate.

Also, from a biz standpoint, in order to maximize production I would imagine that they do not want to overly encourage lengthy sessions. The girls earn the same tip off the deed, so I could see them thinking, "why not have more clients and fewer sessions"?

What you say about the "hour" is really 45 min. is true at AMPs. And the massages are usually timed such that a new client to an SP gets a 25-30 minute massage and in the last 15-20 minutes the fun starts. I'll bet the client usually blows in that time anyway. But I think the 45 minutes is there to leave an extra 15 minutes over for repeat clients where the SP and the client have gotten to know each other. Anyways, all well calculated and I must admit, calculated well.

Zman, you are right that if the MP is busy busy busy they would be better off with a quick turnover. I don't think most places are that busy though. At least not all the time.

I like what BBC has done re a morning rate, and even the latest Sunday special. Makes sense. Give the customers a break to funnel some of the biz into slower periods and ease the hectic overlap (presumably Fridays and Sat's?).

The same concept applies for independents "regular discounts". It makes sense for them to reward their loyal following with a break (that may be price, extra time, extra services, whatever?) to encourage the continued repeat business. Go ahead and charge the once-only business visitor the extra yard etc.

The concept of a 45-minute hour took into consideration 15 minutes of showering before-and-after combined, and the obligatory 45 minute session. But that has been twisted beyond recognition over the years since the large scale proliferation of MP licenses in Vancouver.

As for GBM's contention that high mileage clients get favourable time extensions, it is probably more the exception than the rule. I know of some regular pooners who have poured tens of thousands in an establishment, but are nickel-and-dimed an extra twenty bucks for going over the time limit by a paltry five minutes.
