Best Antivirus to buy or free?

I think I have a virus. I have Microsoft security essensials and Malwaresbytes. Weekly I update and full scan through malwaresbytes cause I was told it is the best. Each week it gives me 4 options to scan.

But now I only see three to scan C:\, E:\ F:\. Which one am I missing?. It all begun when I was asked to download Adobe® Flash® Player Installer/Uninstaller 10.2 r152 and/or Adobe Reader 9 cannot remember.


Help would be appreciated.

Is that one the best?. I am also looking for the top of the line very best. Will pay but need protection. Watching porno sites is dangerous. So brothers help another one out and post the top rated security one I can download.

Been using it since it hit the market as a BETA

Never a virus problem since I have been using it.

Also IE is not run on any of my machines.

I like avast or kaspersky.

These days, for Windows folks, I use Avast (free as in beer for home use). I used to put AVG on their machines bit it kind of jumped the shark. On anything Linux / BSD / Unix I'll use ClamAV (free as in freedom) mostly so viruses don't get passed along.
