Hi
I am a newly qualified reflexologist and now hoping to promote myself, I am going to be offering mobile treatments and wondering what is the best equipment to use. Currently my therapy table in my home treatment room is very sturdy and comfortable but very heavy, I am now looking at buying something for mobile use and wondering if any mobile therapists have any advice please. I have looked at lighter tables but they can be expensive, I have also seen Lumar reclining chairs which say they are ideal for Reflexologists but wondering how comfortable they are for the clients feet, presumably you would still need a pillow? and then there are flat Reflexology chairs which tilt, the client sits in a normal arm chair?
Do you find that most people prefer the comfort and ease of their own armchair so the Reflexology stool more adaptable or do you find they dont mind or prefer to lie on a therapy table, I appreciate that some cant get onto a table so I would have to adapt, also is it ok to ask your client if you can play music, using my own cd player to help make the experience more relaxing.
Any advice on this or any other tips for mobile treatments would be really appreciated, I am a little nervous about the whole thing with being a novice!
Thank you
