Hi All......

Have asked the same question in the general section, but maybe better here......

Am heading to Phuket on 21st (four days away)........am travelling with my G/F, who want to see a ping pong show. I have seen a few, and would like to know where to go to see the best ???? Both myself and G/F are very open minded, so would like to see a good show......hopefully someone here can point us in the right direction. (BTW would also like any tips on how not to get ripped off

You haven't beem specific on where you are going.
In Patong, I only know about 2, Exotica in Soi SeaDragon is the better, not the greatest, especially if you have been before years ago, but as good as your going to get here.
Bkk Patpong, be very careful, get drink prices before you sit down.
Patts, forget that style show and go for the girls gogo shows.... nicer.

Tip: get drink price list no matter where you go.

I went with a Thai girl to show her a place I have been to several times before, she had never been, for 2 JD's we got a 1400B bill, I said "WTF" to the waitress and she went off with my 1K B note (I had nothing smaller) and never returned with any change. They avoided me for a while until I called the waitress over, I asked where was my change, she arrived with a menu that said JD = 500B, then 190B for every drink after that and that the original charge was for the show. 'So why the 1400 bill first up" No answer!
The show was good, the best I have I seen here in Patong, but I dont like being duped, and I didn't stay for the 190B drink, as much as they kept coming over to offer it to me.

Do not let a tout walk in with you, and if you see one following you make sure you make it VERY clear to the bar staff that you're not paying any more than the standard price.

Ask for a drink menu if you have to.

Beijing, have a stadium full of ping pong shows every year.
They are quite competitive to see who has the best show.

Have occasionally been in a go-go bar when there has been one on. Have actually looked away, because more often that not the exponent of the ping pong show has been well over the hill and invariably not a pleasant sight. The old trout who did the shows in the BNC was a case in point........

I'm always surprised how there is still a market for these shows, but new enquiries keep on coming.
There is usually one somewhere on Soi Seadragon, place next to Suzy Wongs (New name Diablo?).

Agree, nothing erotic about it what so ever, but can understand the curiosity though, but once was enough. Go to Exotica or Body Nude (the lady will come around later asking for tips).

The one and only time I have puposely gone to one of those shows was over 20 years ago, in Amsterdam.
The girl, stge was doing all sorts of strange things to a banana and then wanted me to go up and eat it while it was in situ. I nearly lost my dinner and walked out!!!
Mind you.......I was taken to a bar in Patpong one night, thinking it was just another bar, when the show started. I didn't get to see much of the show as the cute, nude 18 year old sitting on my lap kept distracting me!! It seemed to be more of a live sex show thing than cruelty to animals and inanimate objects. ( Didn't even get ripped off on drink prices!!)

Have been to Phuket and experienced all that it has to offer..........as to the best show.....we went to exotica and sa all that we needed to see.......advice for newbies is to go there on your own and not be sucked in by the touts........will cost you heaps more with a tout.......
