Better to book early or later for flight from LAX to Singapore?

I'm planning to make a trip to Singapore in late September, and I've heard that prices usually drop by then and I should wait to book my flight. But, I'm worried that if I do that and tickets end up skyrocketing, I'd be screwed. Anybody know whether September is a down season for tourism to Singapore and flights generally drop around then? Should I book early or wait til later? Thanks

Tourism goes on year round in Singapore, the weather is almost always the same. Warm and humid. I'd suggest you book your ticket now and get what you need.

its a gamble either way, as the seats get booked up, the price go's up, why not do it now, and get it done with, but do check out the different airlines
