Justin Bieber relaxes with a three-person massage backstage on his world tour.
A picture posted by his friend John Shahidi shows the Sorry singer laying on a massage table backstage at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona on Wednesday night while three masseuses work the tension out of his body.
One can be seen working on the feet, another is tackling his right hand and the third is giving Justin a head massage. At the same time, he is having cupping therapy. The eight cups are positioned on his torso to create suction, which is thought treats muscle pain. Justin appears to be a fan of the ancient technique as he's been spotted with the suction marks on his body on a number of occasions in 2015 and 2016.
John writes in the Instagram caption, "Very nice."
Justin posted his own snap on Instagram after the cups were removed, showing large red circles on his body. He noted their unique position by joking, "My body looks like eyes nose and mouth."
Justin will have more time to relax backstage on tour now that he has cancelled his meet-and-greets. He announced last week that he would no longer greet fans in person before the show because the sessions were bringing him down.
"I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy...
"Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression... The pressure of meeting people's expectations of what I'm supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders. Never want to disappoint but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised."
