According to what I read they hope to have Tata Young and some big names for this for a free concert..

The DJ line up they are listing are definately names to look out for..

Looks like some sort of scam, cant see how they could organise that (and with the 3am shutdown) without hearing anything about it. Sponsors look a bit strange as well, Phuket Post, Virgin Radio ???

I'll email the Phuket Post guy about it, he should know the details.

yeah my alarm bells are ringing (site is basically just some image files also)...

The mint sponsor could mean mint bar in Samui which is DJ connected tho.. Seems like al the DJ acts listed but none of the live acts listed or confirmed..

as LIL told me about some events running in samui last year,there back this year.
Trinity,to name one(cant remember the rest)are supplying djs for a thailand tour,from 27-10 jan,likes of brandon block ,jay dee....loads more on rotation,playing out at,sub club,ghecko lounge(Samui)a couple of other venues on phangan and one night in Qbar (bkk).ill try to get the full info up.

this party on patong beach sounds sweet,maybe wont have to make another excursion,but is it happening???

This event is defo happening but it's been postponed till later in the year, March or April. Line up will change although some of the names will stay. It'll be a good party though, expect to see an updated website soon.

If some of the bigger names are changed they will be changed for equally as big names, so rest assured this is no scam.
