Biofreeze or prossage or Sombra

I am using biofreeze right now and i love, clients love it, its great. However i see an add for prossage heat and i am curious.

What do everyone hear use. Is there anything else everyone uses beside those two.

I finally found Prossage website and found out it is the same company as biofreeze. And they say this. So now i think i will give it a try!
But if anyone uses another brand i still want to know!

Q: Is Prossage Heat used in place of Biofreeze?

A: No. Prossage Heat is used for myofascial release deep tissue therapy. Biofreeze is used for the temporary relief of pain and is not a massage oil. We do suggest that you apply Biofreeze after a myofascial deep tissue treatment to treat any muscle or joint soreness.

Biofreeze.....I don't leave home without it. Seriously, I carry a tube in my purse at all times. It's what I use on myself when something hurts. I have a big pump size in my treatment room and use it at the end of therapeutic sessions.

I love to use prossage during cupping massage. It really helps the cups to glide over the skin.

I use both of these products but the one that I couldn't live without is biofreeze.

I like Biofreeze in the spray dispenser when I am in a hurry or need to get on an ackward area (scaps or mid back), but I prefer the Sombra cream by far because it lasts so much longer and the scent is much more bearable. Just my 2 cents.

I second Sombra! I tell my clients when I give them a sample pack, "A little dab will do ya". It works wonders, I have used Biofreeze and Prossage but I did not get through the first bottle or tube, I much prefer Sombra. another 2 cents.

I called prossage heat and asked for an information cd that they were avertising. No only did i get a small half once sample of the prossage and the cd and all the information i could need... they also gave me a roll-on, the spray, samples and gel free of biofreeze. Now that is what i call constomer service. I know I dont plan on changing brands any time soon!

Yes. They have a great sample package. Sombraman can also send you samples of Sombra if you are interested. I think he is Rabbit84 now.

I like Biofreeze for the acute pain of something like a headache.

I like Sombra for more chronic pain.

I like Prossage when I need to really get in and work deep in an area.

Ok, I have used all of them, but I have a ques.? Does anyone find that you are lightheaded from the smell of the prossage after a bit into the massage?? It seems SOOOOO strong...am I doing something wrong????
I love BIOFREEZE I have sample to give to clients and they always come back and ask for the larger size, can't live with out it!!

Well, I have used it in the past, but not as a lotion all over the body. More for "spot" work.

Oh yeah, I amnot using it on the WHOLE body, just trouble spots, but the other thing that I found weird, is that is says, do not use with any other products!!??? Any suggestions?

I like prossage and you only are supposed to use a drop or two per area. I literally use 2 drops and it works awesomely.

I think they mean not to mix it into another product, use it straight on.

I use it on the neck and shoulders and then go back over the neck and shoulders with cream if I need to.

Love all of them. Use all of them.
Prossage for spot work, Biofreeze almost always on some joint after deep work. Sombra for personal use.
I too carry a tube of Biofreeze in my bag.
LOVE love love the sample kit they sent. They also sent me another box of fliers/samples and had my business name and number on them.
Careful there, they printed my home number by accident. I just printed labels and stuck them right on.
They are very good about sending samples if you are having an open house, fair or offsite event.
I have not requested samples from Sombra yet....
Sombraman you out there?
I have my Biofreeze samples in a dish next to the mints.

I really like the Sombra sample that Sombraman sent me. I LOVE the way it smells. It's like grapefruit and eucalyptus...mmmm. I have used it on myself several times for a cranky shoulder before going to bed at night. The effects stayed for a long time and helped my shoulder a lot. My wife likes it as well. When she gets a massage, I'll often use some on her neck at the end.

I've had Biofreeze used on me before; I think the application wasn't the best. She used it on my shoulder without letting me know what it was, and then proceeded to get it all over the rest of my body....very distracting! Unfortunately, that experience has caused me to shy away from the product. One day I will have to get over it and give it a try, but for now, Sombra is working for me.

i use biofreeze. i love the stuff as well. i actually buy a whole bunch at a time and give it away to my clients who really need it. i have a samples in my car, a bottle in my bathroom, a roll-on next to my bed and a ton of it in the office. i haven't used sombra yet, maybe i'll have to give it a try. is it cheap enough to give away to my clients?

Hello everyone, I have used both and was very happy with both BioFreeze and Sombra. I think I choose Sombra though because it smells so much better. BioFreeze is just a bit over whelming.
