Black spots on feet

Hiya!

I did reflexology for a friend yesterday - on the ball of his left foot it was covered in brown marks and little black spots (best was I can describe it) and some crater like pores? Not describing this very well, sorry. Covered area just in case.

I was not sure if this was just down to foot hygiene or infection. Did not look like verrucaes or athletes foot. Tried to look up on net but no success. Not come across this before. Anybody recognise this please?

It does sound like verrucas or maybe corns? Did you show the client?

Verrucas usually look like little black dots on the bottom of the foot. Your friend sounds like he has lots of them. They are contagious so he needs to get them checked out by a doctor or chiropodist.

Dark skinned people can have brown marks left after corns etc have healed.

The black clusters do sound like verucas so the immune system needs boosting up.

Hi, from what you describe it sounds like what are known as "female veruccas" - very contagious!
