I have a new client who has been a couple of times. She is new to my area having moved here with her partner's work and so feels as is she has uprooted and left everybody and everything behind her. She used to have reflexology before and so wanted to contine with it in her new home - hence her coming to me.
Anyway, she has a problem with her bladder which is now really affecting her life in general. Basically, she goes for a wee and doesn't feel as if she has emptied her bladder properly and so very shortly aferwards has to go back to the toilet again. At other times, she is weeing when she hasn't really got a full bladder, although she feels as if she is desperate to go. She has been like this for years but in her old town felt quite comfortable as she knew where all the toilets were when she went shopping, at work etc. Now she is in a new place and it has totally thrown her. She is becoming scared to do anything. She didn't get on a plane last week as she was worried about wetting herself - although she has never done this.
She has been to the GP today and he has given her some medication to help alleviate this. She came for a treatment tonight and I basically treated her for stress as she was so emotional. She had obviously been crying quite alot today and she cried during our initial discussion. So I tried to help with emotions and stress.
But can anyone think of anything else that I should be looking into? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really feel for this client. She has obviiously got herself into a cycle which is no fun for her or her partner. Thanks.
