A: We are here to help you live a more active and pain free lifestyle. We can help you with specific muscle pain caused from over work, repetitive use, overuse, injury or to just help you release tension and stress.
Q: What made you start your business?
A: I saw a need in Antioch. There are a lot of people in this town that are active, hard workers that need/want to take care of themselves. Before opening Blu Rain, I would have to travel far to receive such treatment. I wanted to make a convenient place for people around here to be able to take care of themselves.
Q: What has been the most difficult obstacle in running or starting a small business?
A: The most difficult obstacle in running a small business is the ability to balance a work/home life.
Q: What do you enjoy most about operating your business?
A: I enjoy challenging myself and overcoming all the obstacles that come up day to day. It is very rewarding to look back at the end of the day/month/year and see what I have been through.
Q: Is this what you pictured yourself doing when you were young? When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: Growing up in a family that started a business, I knew eventually I would be running my own business, but I can't say for sure I knew it would be a massage business. I wanted to be in the police investigative department when I was young, This is way different!
Q: What keeps you up at night?
A: Nothing really keeps me up at night, I'm so tired I fall right asleep!
Q: If you could give one tip to a rookie business owner, what would it be?
A: Trust in yourself and your vision. Don't listen to negativity. My father would tell me all the time you need to have passion to keep a small business up and going. No one can take your passion away from you. Hold on to it!
