Blue Lagoon - main stream advertising

This almost knocked me out of my seat, last nigt I'm out cruising listening to the radio, commercial comes on and guess what, it's and advertisement for the Blue Lagoon massage parlour..WOW. This is on KISS 93.5 FM at around 21:30. This blew me away, I know BL spends alot of money on advertising (if you frequent CB or Loco you know what I'm talking about) but I never expected to hear them advertising on the radio, if only they would spend some of that to ensure they provide better service.

Has anyone come across any other MPs advertising on the radio or any non adult oriented medium such as this?

After midnight week nights radio ads are not as much as you might think. Although yes still a little costly. Have to agree with you though... a bit weird. They seem to like advertising outside the adult medium available. They are not in any adult publication I have seen. ( eye, NOW, Adult Entertainer etc...)

There was one other MP adverising on rickshaws last summer... for the life of me cannot remember who. (I have a good memory but its shot.) They also advertised in eye, Now etc as well though.

I think that might have been alphacare...but I could be wrong. And the Blue Lagoon spot was on at 09:30 PM which is a bit more costly than after midnight...at the time I just thought it was weird. I wonder what kind of traffic this will generate for them, I can see the ladies hearing this ad and think its a legit spa and decide to check it out.

It doesn't matter what Blue Lagoon does to advertise their MP. The place is still a piece of s#@t, filled with a lot of stuck up attendants who are not social and have no clue how to give a good massage. I gave them 3 chances, and i'll never go back.

I just feel sorry for the guys who don't know any better and will go to this hole because of the raido ads. We ought to pool our cash together to put out counter ads about this place!

For the love of God, I cannot understand the management at BL.

They spend a fortune on advertising and the only repeat business they get is from guys who don't know about any other places, nor have tried other places. If they would clean up their act, they would find themselves spending less and less on advertising unless they wanted to expand.

The rickshaw ads were for Alphacare, I remember there was a discussion here some time ago about how much it would cost to get the rickshaw to take you up to Alphacare...

The website they have is really good, and if they have radio ads too then they must have a lot of money to spend. But all the money in the world can't make up for poorly trained, stuck up attendants. I really can't stand that place, when I use to go in there they made me feel like they're doing me a favour. As if they are no other MP's in all of Toronto so I should be grateful for their service. That
