Body and Soul closed for renovations

Drove by this afternoon. The sign on the door said they were closed for renovations.

Anybody know when (if?) they are re-opening?

Heard from whom? The note on their door is definitely from mgmt. If they were closed for bylaw infractions, I would have expected a note from the city on the door.

"The City" doesn't post things liek that and the only way they "close down" a business is with a Court Order/Injunction.

However, the cops or the by law or health or fire guys are very persuasive in encouraging you to close down voluntarily if that is their intention...

The plumbers, tilesetters, carpenters, heating and air condtion truck and sounds of construction from the unit shoudl be proof enough they are closed for "renovations".

Yeah the last time they were closed the posting was from the city citing a vague description of what happened so the decisions to close this time was not the city's.

As for RM100's suggestion that they were encouraged to close... I think only the management could comment on the validity of that.

What's sad about all this is that no one barely mentions this place and it seems like it's only when it's closed that anyone even mentions the place.

I can't even remember the last time I've seen a review for this place.

Which surprises me because I've always thought it was a good intermediate place.... nice girls, nice managers, good value for 60 min sessions and discrete/central location.

I agree with you. I still used the place from time to time since it re-opened, however, it was either with Vanessa or Cecilia who both have a number of reviews and I did not think it worth posting about those sessions. Then Vanessa left and now they are closed.

Since they re-opened things have been sub-standard. They did not have the selection of MPA that they used to, the website was not replaced (huge mistake), the hours were cut, the ATM was removed and they still needed renovations. I think people found alternatives when they were closed and when they re-opened they did not have that little extra to entice people to return.

I hope they re-open and move back into the upper ranks of the GTA / NY MP's like they used to be.

It used to be my favorite place. Great girls and good value. It's not quite been the same since they've re-opened. Their website is gone and they don't seem to have the selection they used to have.

However, I did have an amazing session with a new girl, Joey, last week and thats why I asked the question in the first place.

Hopefully they will reopen, and when they do they'll be more like the Body and Soul we used to know.

Well, they reopened after the "renovations" but for the last week or so there has been a sign on the door from the landlord saying they are locked out due to non-payment of rent.

I think we can mark this one closed too.

Oh well, I still have my memories of Sydney, Emma, Lexus, and Cindy.

That they would actually spend money on renovations and then close down after re-opening for only a short time. Mudd, who did you get the official word from? Was there any indication of if they will re-locate or where the girls went?
