for self-massage sake,
are there areas (I'm thinking chest, pelvic floor?, pelvic in general, pubic) that would benefit from massage and/or myofascial release that obviously wouldn't be done by professionals? nothing sexual implied.
I've been immobile for quite some time following an injury and I'm sore ALL over. I hold a lot of tension in my chest and lower body and would like to alleviate as much as possible.
suggestions for trigger points or areas to check for soreness? I've done some of that already but never quite know for sure what I should be pressing and what I shouldn't.
what are the areas that are off-limits to massage?
thanks.
