I knew a few girls who used to work in the EBC area, and that's exactly what happened when they swept the whole area.

You do the math... Each MP there had a minimum of 8 to 10 girls, plus the owner. When they close one down... the girls had nowhere to go, so they pretty much all paired up, and opened their own in-calls. Plus, most of the time, the owner went and opened his or her own in-call as well. So they close one MP, and 6 in-calls pop up. They close 40 MPs... 240 incalls pop up....

As a girl, I'm not going to work for someone else at an in-call place... why should I? Most girls at the in-call places have to give the owner $30 for every client they do. If they do 10 clients... that's $300 for the owner already. Work 3 days... and $900 gone! So why not rent a place for $900, and keep all the money to ourselves? Why pay someone else? They're not providing a safe environment to work in or anything....

I like working at a MP because I feel like I have somewhat of a normal life.... a job to go to.... So it's worth it for me to pay my boss $25 per client... I show up whenever I want, I have a place to work, a place to socialize and gossip with my friends, a place to make fun of the stupid potato-heads that come in... It's great!

When my friend got her license revoked... she asked me what I would do if I got mine revoked. My answer?... I'd keep working for as long as I can without a license... until I run out of options, then I'd go and rent an apartment and open my own incall. Everything's there already... the rooms... the shower/ bathroom... so why not? I don't have to build it from scratch, like I would a MP... so how easy is that? And I won't even need a license. All I need to do is place an ad and I'm ready to go. Oh... and a mattress too....

What other choice would I have? I don't have any skills, and who the heck's going to hire me without a resume? Plus, I'm not going to work for $8 an hour! What the heck would I do with $8 an hour? I wouldn't be able to afford anything! I already can't afford anything as it is right now! I don't have a home phone... I don't have cable... I'm not living lavishly or anything even close to that! I'm just barely making ends meet... and that's it!

So now they're complaining about the "brothels in the sky"? There wouldn't be any if they had a red light district and put all of us there!!! Prostitution is legal right now anyways... I'd be more than happy to pack up my furry little slippers, and my matching furry purse, and move there. I don't have enough money to build a MP... But maybe I can set up my own little tent... with a portable heater or something... and a towel to lie on... I'll move there... Why not? As long as there's no LE bothering me....

Then, they wouldn't have to worry about me and my whacker friends being in apartment buildings, and bringing our clients into residential areas....

I know... I suck in math.... but I can't be too far off....

I know I'll still be giving away $900... BUT.... I'll be giving away $900 for 3 DAYS (to in-call boss), as opposed to $900 for the whole MONTH!! (to landlord).

...Maybe $50 for a cheapie mattress from the flea market... $30 for 10 bath-towels from Walmart... $9 for 9 face-clothes from the dollar store... $1 for baby oil from dollar store... $5 for laundry soap... $500 for ads... $8 for toilet paper....

And that's it!... I'm ready to go....

The only problem I can foresee is that clients might not stay if I don't offer BJs or FSs....

But... if worse comes to worse.... And I've got no other choice... I guess I'll just have to sell Bobo... (that's my kitty's name), 'cuz what else can I do? When you're starving and broke... you just have to do what you've got to do to survive....

The biggest problem with setting up an incall of course is discretion. How are other tenants on the same floor in an apartment building going to react to all the comings and goings of these strange men in and out.

And you're right: at an incall a lot, if not the majority, of guys will expect BJs and FS. Although I have seen some independents advertise massage and emphasize those extras AREN'T available.

Actually, what am I saying?...

I KNOW this IS hypocritical... BUT...

Eventhough I'm in this business.... I would NOT be happy if I knew there was someone in my condo doing incalls. In fact... I'd be pretty pissed...

One of my whacker friends work at a MP in the day... and an incall at night. When she told me she was thinking of renting a unit in my building... I purposely discouraged her by telling her that the security is really strict there... they check the cameras all the time... etc, etc. It's totally not true... but I told her that because I knew if she rented a unit there, she'd be doing incall there. And I didn't want that.

I know this might sound pathetic... but eventhough I have my own condo right now, I would NEVER do incall there. IT'S MY HOME!!! I don't want a bunch of strange men there!!! I love my little place! Eventhough it's small and sh*tty, and I have no cable or home phone.... and I eat off a cardboard box... it's still my home!!! There's really nothing to steal or anything... But to me... It's MY sacred place.... MINE, MINE, MINE!!! I worked hard for it!

If I were to open my own incall place, I'd go rent a separate place to do it there. I know it doesn't make sense at all money-wise, but I just wouldn't be able to do it at home. I know it's silly... but I guess it's me. I HAVE TO separate home and business...




That's what I was afraid of... I didn't want Bobo to be as big as a parking lot...

That's why I never took that step. And I hope I'll never have to...

I had a similar talk with an SP....fantastic apartment....only rented for incalls. It would be completely strange to her to do "work" at home. The apartment was only used a few hours a week, the oven was brand new, etc.
I make a conscious decision to minimize doing work at home, so feel the same way. Just never thought about it in this industry.
Maybe compartmentalizing life makes it easier.... I'm just glad I live in a house, no renters. Mind you a nice local incall would not be a bad thing, just not the neighbour.

Wow, I didn't know this place at 71 Strada was still around. I patronized it years ago, but thought it was long since defunct.

To all who expressed anger at the hypocrisy of our authorities, "Ditto". It really steams me that our tax dollars are spent this way. In so many ways, Toronto continues a laughably provincial place, and the city's self proclaimed "world class" status just makes it all the more pathetic.

Leah, thanks for your contribution to this thread. It's interesting to get the the thoughtful perspective of an MP attendant. You seem to have things figured pretty well.

Though I agree that it would be a special challenge for you to make a success of an incall with no bj or fs...there are examples in this city of girls who have done that. If you ever find yourself in the position of having to try it, pay attention to the cleanliness of the place, lower your price by about $10.00 and increase the session time by 10 minutes compared to the going rate, and I'm sure you'd be able to build a steady clientele. If you can figure out a way of attracting a niche market while maintaining a broad appeal, (lingerie, special service etc...), all the better.
