We were taught IHM by Kush Kumar, who is the author of 'Authentic Indian Head Massage: Malish'. We used the book throughout the course and I found it very helpful.

there is supposed to be a very good one by Helen McGuiness, my teacher recommended it.
 
I'm using the Helen McGuinness book for my course and it is good, it's just been updated and has a dvd that comes with it, doesn't demo any techniques but has lots of interactive question and answers, crosswords etc..which I find useful for my ITEC course. The other book that was recommended to us by our tutor is by Narinder Mehta - I think it is called Indian Champissage.
 
got this lovely book also by Narendra Mehta called Indian head massage. am not on course but hoping to be one day.
