Booth Event Massage HELP!
I am the Events coordinator for our class and this will be the primary service in my future business, so I consider this my area of expertise. "How can we get plenty of business"? set up your chair, lol -- that is usually all it takes. If things are slow at first, one of you can walk about with business cards or brochures and point out to people where you are located. There are a few things that always seem to get forgotten. Decide how many pamplets/business cards you will need and then take twice that many! This is the #1 item we run out of - number #2 is disposable face cradles (we fashion ours from paper towels). A small table to put your supplies and marketing tools. Seating for waiting clients (as well as yourself, but with just two of you there, you may never have a chance to sit ;-) A tip jar and if you are charging, a seperate money box.In my opinion, chair massage is the best way to get known to the public, so a banner sign above the booth, lots of pamphlets or small freebies with your business logo (bottles of water are very popular as well as practical) and wearing a shirt with your company's logo are important. I don't know how "new" you are to this, so if you need a checklist of what to take, just let me know.
