anything from chicken nuggets & garlic sauce (di di's) to yam nem from the stall on rat u tit (very hard to get isaan speciality)
Noodle soup for a hangover, usually around sainamyen or on nanai

Isaan

usually barbeque moo, goong, tom gai, kapau moo.....................homemade french toast and french fries

Scotland

Sausage (in batter) supper, steak pie supper, chicken & onion pizza (italian style - thin)

This talk reminded me of a scene from Pulp Fiction:

That's nothing though ... ever tasted a 'patatje oorlog'? (= french fries at war) It's french fries with mayonaise, ketchup, peanutbutter sauce and raw onions.

I prefer a kebab though ...

I recall, when I was a lot younger and a lot poorer, surviving for a couple of weeks in Amsterdam eating almost every meal at a Febo - loved them at the time but then again I was probably under the influence of something or other

If I eat something it is highly likely noodle soup or rice soup...

The rice soup place at sai nam yem/nanai is a popular and good one, they have chicken rice aswell.

In LOS after drinking.. it use to be the chicken satey, but I got crook from one last trip so not again for awhile. A nice pizza at the pizza place in sansabai.
Never ordered one for delivery on Eric though.

New years traddition in Holland. On New Years eve we stuff ourselves in family and friend gatherings with 'oliebollen' and 'appelflappen'. Apple, raisins, sugarpowder ... hmmmmmm. :ytounge:

Also niewe harring with raw onion and a soft white bread roll.. They are good.. Cant remember what the dutch call them but smoked eels also !!!

And every year me and some mates would go to a mosselfest day.. Always a nice noisy laugh..
