HI,
last week a man came to me in part b/c 2-3 months ago, both his pec minors started to hurt. He's 60. He'd more identified the soreness as being at the coracoid process, but on palpation the whole pec minor was very sore, though no neighboring muscles. He was concerned that it was gout, though it's not a joint...
I'm wondering if this could just be a response to posture, or to some act he doesn't remember of heavy lifting, or if something else (an organ?) is sending referred pain to the pec minors. Does anyone have any ideas?
Fyi: he lifts weights and his work involves intense lifting. He claims to get only very rarely if ever hurt. He has severe posture issues (having less to do with his work than just bad posture) but, on the other hand, enormous upper body strength.
p.s. I had a memory of posting this before, but don't see it anywhere, so I think hallucinated! but sorry if it's a repeat!
Thank you!
