Years ago, there was a group that was pushing many places to use "their" security. It just so happens those boys in blue made sure most Chinese owned bars, clubs and many Amps used "their" services. In the end, the business owners never benefited. If anything, they received unwanted attention. Too much bs. Even the good agencies have unstable people working for them. There are many examples of this over the years.

If I were the owner of the buildings where all of these places are established I could be legally liable for anything that happens.

I can just see it, guys try to rob amp, guys and gals get killed or seriously injured, police come and no one will come forward for any charges since the defendents are here illegally and practicing an illegal profession.

Eventually the city charges the owners of the building for its costs in police, fire and ambulance charges. It takes time but the law is the law and these are the risks you take when running a business without a license or illegally.

BTW there is a huge lawsuit pending on two guys that were sent to the hospital by Jay Z's security guards at his AC 4040 nightclub.

just as a deterant. i was in a kmp once very late, a 5 hispanic punks were ringing the bell contantly. they were giving the girls some bs, but the girls never let them in. this went on for 30 minutes, so i waited until they left.

What information are you basing your post on?

It's pretty short sighted to think people won't be desperate, especially in these times.

Without giving too much detail it's fair to say that there is not much cash kept on hand.

It's not just the bad guys that shake the places down. They have to worry about the boys in blue who also take their share.

With all the mad cash money coming in each day........... you would think there are security detail to keep an eye out for robbers attempting to take the loot. Its not like they can dial 911 and get help from the cops.

I have not yet been to a place with "visible" security.
