or failure? Buick plans to take on lexus, by introducing a luxury model known as "verano" in 2012. Will it succeed in beating lexus or it will fail? verano to have the familar structure of the old la-crosse and park avenue (which don't exist anymore).

unfortunately the verano will fail. Nobody wants to spend $50,000 for buick. For $50K most people would prefer bmw, audi, lexus, acura, etc etc.

Buick just does not have the expectation to be in the 50K range. Most consumers will avoid spending that much

Lexus has a long history of improving their cars, which in my opinion has surpassed M B.
Buick has a long way to go.
