Business Coaching part 2

For those of you that read the previous post regarding Career Massage, I am currently pursuing my certification as a business/personal coach to add to my existing massage practice. As part of my class experience, we have certain assignments we have to accomplish (similar to the equivalent of clinic in MT school). I have to give 1 sample session to a new person each week (sessions last 30-45 minutes for the first one).

Since my focus will be "Massage Therapists and Growing Their Abundant Practices", I figured this would be the perfect place to find my "homework".

If you would like a free sample session, please PM me, and I will get back to you ASAP to schedule it for you. I greatly appreciate your help, as we can achieve our goals together!

How do the session work? Via Instant messaging? Emails?

They are most effective when done over the phone, although emails can be useful as well. As for my assignment, they must be done by phone. To answer several questions at once:

1) All information is confidential

2) You have complete control of the session

3) I am your personal cheerleader / "detatched thinking partner".

4) The sample session is about 30 minutes long.

5) It does not have to be massage related.

Yes, the samples are FREE (except whatever toll charges would apply to you)

Just a reference for Kneadfulthings. She is a wonderful person to talk to and will not make you feel "stupid" or "goofy" in any way.

If you volunteer, you will definitely not only be helping her, but yourself too, no matter what your level of experience in massage. There's ALWAYS something we can learn!!!!

As for the certification...I am going through http://www.coachtrainingalliance.com. It is about six months long, and a bit more involved than I originally assumed! Since I am passionate about helping other therapists take their practice in the direction of their dreams (what ever that dream may be) this is a natural progression for me.
