Busted MP's not to be deterred ...and a surprise!

Took a drive around tonight.

Not a week after being busted, 400 Creditstone is still open, as is Orchid/TLC!

Also open are the previously busted for underaged girls spas "Amazon" and "Lotus".

BIG BALLS!!!

What I don't get is how a place like 400 Creditstone (which I have really enjoyed a lot!) is still allowed to be open when they have themselves been busted in the last six months and then busted again and STILL open?!?

Don't the "keepers" of these places have conditions of their bail?

THe one place that seems smart (far a change!) is Oxygen4U at Keele and 7. If EVER there was a place asking to be busted THAT is the one.

I think these owners are asking for trouble from LE. They shouldn't push their luck. Sometimes it's best to keep a low profile for awhile....unless they know they're gonna get shut down anyways and want to make as much money as possible until they do.

I didn't go knock on their door but the place is usually lit up, signs and all.

I've already had an issue with Creditstone and the police that circulate that area. It's no big surprise that this place has been busted, i like going there but i'll stay away for a while.

If you people knew much about massage you would know that
9/10 when a MP gets raided all they do is issue BY LAW tickets,
they dont nessasarily go to F!@#$%^ jail!!!!!!!!!!

9/10 is dependant on which municipality you're in. More and more the municipalities are watching what other municipalities get away with in court. So, I think in future, there may be more bawdy house charges being laid than there is now.

Hey angry, uninformed spa!

If you read the papers or followed any other threads in this forum you would know that CRIMINAL charges were laid.

As they were a few months ago when underage girls were found working at Creditstone and Lotus.

Funny enough, no BY-LAW charges were reported as being laid, despite the fact that Creditstone does not have a City of Vaughan Body Rub License.

also condier theat these are merely "charges" referring to "alleged events" (ahem...lol) not convictions...which would require terms contained in sentencing...

and as we all know, the owners very rarely (if ever) are present when the raids go down, so the manager gets charges, bail condition is that he not frequent the location -- obvious answer get a new manager...

tough to close a place with no conviction on the book, but once that happens (8 to 20 mos down the road) watch out...

thats how they got rid of a few in toronto, once the bawdy house conviction was registered, the landlords were informed, and places padlocked, and landlords threatened with closure of premesis (for a period of 2 years) under toronto by-law if it happened again within a 10 year period. Of course the city still wants property txes, etc. paid (and you will still have utility bills) even though you aren't allowed to use the premesis...pretty effective sanctions...

(the place on Bloor St - west of Joe Mercury's (dundas st w) was one such place...htere have been 2 or 3 others)
