Hi again,
I was making my list of cell oraganelles and there functions up to submit my exam papers that I am late with yeah and I was a bit concerned wether I was missing a few or even one here as every web site I check has showed a lot have had different information there and others listed that were not in another site or in the book it has less.
I keep looking at it and I am really not sure if I have got it correct and they slice a great percentage off me if I haven't. Just not 100% on it at all
Cytoplasm
The cytoplasm is fluid inside the cell that surrounds the organelles
Endoplasmic reticulum (ER)
This organelle helps process molecules created by the cell and transport them to their specific destinations.
Golgi apparatus
The golgi apparatus packages molecules processed by the endoplasmic reticulum to be transported out of the cell.
Lysosomes and peroxisomes
Lysosomes contain hydrolytic enzymes that digest unwanted materials inside the cell, including worn-out cell parts.
Mitochondria
Mitochondria are complex organelles that convert energy from food into a form that the cell can use.
Nucleus
The nucleus serves as the cell's command center, sending directions to the cell to grow, mature, divide, or die.
Plasma membrane
The plasma membrane is the outer lining of the cell. It separates the cell from its environment and allows materials to enter and leave the cell.
Ribosomes
Ribosomes are organelles that process the cell's genetic instructions to create proteins.
Hope you can help
