Can i introduce a new guinea pig?

My piggy luther is getting a new hutch soon, a nice 2 storey hutch. I wanted 2 at the start but didnt have the money or room. Now i do i am thinking of introducing a new guinea pig to the family. I want to get him a male freind at he is a boy (clearly). But they might fight.

Luther is 3 months old, so only a baby. Would he be ok if i were to get say another male baby guinea pig and introduce him? How do i introduce them, the hutch will have a ladder so i can seperate it. Will they need to be introduced slowly over time like rabbits or do they get along as soon as they meet?
