Can you chat on the WoW forums without downloading/buying the game?

Okay first of all I find WoW to be very boring and outdated, but I love to chat on the forums with all of the close-minded fanboys that blow any ounce criticism out of proportion. If you say anything negative about the game such as the $100+ start-up cost, paying for outdated expansion content to level, the high monthly fee, or the micro-transactions they will literally SCREAM at you!

I used to play the game back in 2005ish because my friend told me to join and level with him but I got bored of it at the release of the first expansion pretty quick and forgot the password to the account. I literally have zero interest in the game but the forums are just really fun so is it possible to use them without paying?
Also I would not like to download the game either, it's a waste of hard drive space tbh...

hahahahaha, i know exactly what youre saying the wow player base is AWFUL, a bunch of sensitive freaks.

BUT, to answer your question, you need to have an active account to talk on the forums (means you have to pay for your subscription...know what i mean)
