I want to know if someone could run a low-scale massage parlor out of their home.Without being licensed,as long as the clients are told up front you are not a licensed massage therapist?
O.K. Since I can not figure out how to respond to the answer, I will have to do it here.
I didn't mean someone to try to massage on a physical therapists level.I would never expect someone who was in serious pain to go to an unlicensed masseur.I just meant in a way where perhaps the client just wants to relieve some tension, and unwind from a hard day.More along those lines, rather than how you put it.
Personally I don't see any reason why what I am saying should be illegal.Obviously there would be no "happy ending" services going on.There would be a mutual understanding with the customer that the massage is just to relieve tension, and not work out knots,or severe pain that a therapist should take care of.Plus it would be understood that the above stated "services" are not offered.
