It is best to socialize a pup with all kinds of other animals. My dog has been socialized with cats, dogs, chickens, reindeer, horses and goats. She does not bark or try to chase any of them. She also is very curious about other animals. She was face to face with a bunny in the yard the other day and neither ran from each other.
