alright, lay down on your stomach on a carpeted floor, arms flat against your side, face turned and cheek on the floor. completely flat and even.
have your friend sit on either side of you and lightly pinch and rub your bakk all over for about 10 seconds. make sure you relax completely.
have her place her hands facing palm side down, on each side of your spine.her wrists should be facing eachother and her fingers facing the outside of your waist. inhale, and while exhaling, have her push with a bit of force, but not too much. tell her to start at the base of your spine, and work her way up, gently pinch-messaging you to relax your muscles in between each press. you should feel your back crack a few times.
after she'd done that, have her put some oil or lotion on your back and gently push your muscles a bit, enough to shift the skin, if that makes sense? have her do this, while working out any knots you may have. i'm sure if you go to youtube.com you can find an instructional video for giving back massages.
if you're health insurance covers it (most do if you have it on file that you have scoliosis), you should consider going to a massuse, or even a chiropractor.
good luck, i hope your back feels better soon!
