Hello everyone
Well, I went in for my revision discectomy on 2nd Feb but unfortunately, my symptoms deteriorated following the op. I had no feeling in either of my legs and I was struggling with my bladder control. Two days later I was back in theatre for further surgery.
Basically, I have been told that I have cauna equida syndrome and I must just hope that things improve. I am walking with crutches due to being extremely sore following the ops and also the weakness in both of my legs and feet. I have a catheter fitted and am waiting to see the incontinence nurse who should be able to help me understand things better.
I still can't get my head around all of this. Everything has happened so quickly with such horrible results.
I'll keep you posted.
