Celebrity Fantasies

Am I the only one that doesn't really have celebrity fantasies?

Admittedly, I do have on my site that I'd see a certain celebrity for free. However, I don't actually fantasize about them. Actually, unless he's on the show I'm watching, I don't ever think about him.

I have no interest in a celebrities house, marriage, sex life, clothes or anything else. I hate going to salons and spa's because of all the stupid celebrity gossip people ramble on about (fortunately I found places that don't do that).

As soon as the movie or tv show is over, they're practically dead to me, until the next time I watch something. If I do take interest, it's generally in their artistic training, or to see what other things they've done in the entertainment world...

On that note, I will openly contradict myself, as every time I see his face on the screen, I want to rape Johnny Depp. If he would consent to me, we'd just have to agree to a fantasy rape - something about dominating him and taking what I want really fucking turns me on.

I don't think they're special. Rich and talented, but not special. I'd rather sit at a bar and fantasize about a guy on the other side of the room, or a friend I know that I can't touch, or a work associate I can't ever take to my bed. Or better yet, spend my time fantasizing about people I can fuck, to think up fun things to do the next time we're together LOL

I think celebrity worship (and notice I use a strong word here as not everyone worships celebrities) is the result of weak sens of personal identity. Needing to define yourself by others around you, because you cannot feel secure without acceptance from those you imagine to be better then you.

I don't have any celebrity fantasies, though I do have an interest in some of the tv characters that have been created. As an example I like House, intelligent older Doctor, more than a bit ornery, sarcastic, vulnerable but a genius as well, just an interesting character but I've never really looked into Hugh Laurie nor do I care to.

I do have my own version of celebrity crushes though and they aren't who most people select, I often like authors, scientists, researchers, C-Suite Execs or R&D guys, etc., I read a lot and try to keep current and am drawn to long discussions so I tend to fantasize about men and women that make the news (not the gossip columns) and it's not about what they look like but how they can inspire me, it's just such an attractive quality to me. I'm probably the only person I know that gets turned on reading The Economist or Wired magazine. :???:

Oh and I've never been accused of being normal either, being an original is fun.

We are similar in that regard. I like the character, not the man behind the mask. I feel the same way about Grissom on CSI. I want Grissom not the guy who plays him lol

I had a small crush on Einstein because of his social beliefs. I would die for a moment in bed with Leonard Cohen. I dig your vibe.

My best friend wanted to be an escort after seeing how much fun I was having. I told her far too much of her attraction is based on looks and youth. If a man's mind cannot make him sexually desirable to her, despite his physical condition, she has no business putting up a website.

She turns back to her petite blonde companion resting comfortably on an old blue velour chaise, it's faded and a little worn at the seams. The room itself is dimly lit, there is some light coming in from two windows opposite the chaise, the blinds are up and the red light from police car on the street below flashes across the room. Lauren, I don't remember when I've fantasised about a celebrity either. I've got a crush on Karen Gillen, Dr. Who's new companion, but in a "I'd love to meet her, then do her" sort of way, instead of a "I haz an invisible friend in bed" kind of way.

The idea of celebrity worship correlating with a small sense of self is intriguing. Most people don't feel at ease unless they're in a group, very few actually stand out and show originality or strength of character. Those are either adored or ostracised, then adored.

I’ve fantasized over many celebrities (alone, in front of my computer; I’m not proud) but I’ve never been obsessed.

I don't really understand the celebrity fantasies either. I find some celebrities physically attractive or interesting based on what little I know of them, but no more so than some people I've actually met.

I always wonder about those threads that guys start about the celebrity du jour, stating how "amazing" she is or how they'd give their left nut to do her. Your left nut? really? Save your nuts. For a few hundred bucks, there are lots of SPs that are just as attractive. Even better, there are lots of non-SPs that are just as attractive. You'd have to get to know them and spend some time and effort to get there, though. Better stick with the SPs.
