Chat Room Problems

hey all you sexy people

Just a note to advise everyone of something that has been happening with, and always has been with our chat room.
When you log into the chat room it asks you to log onto one of the server names, for example - irc.blackened.com

However if you log in on your normal one and it doesnt connect or it says you have been banned PLEASE NOTE that it is NOT myself or any of OUR moderators that have banned you - it is the server itself :!:
To rectify this all you need to do is connect to another server - its that easy :wink:

The ONLY reason a person is kicked OR banned Reviewom our chat room on Aus-babe is if myself or one of our mods find your behaviour offensive, abusive, derogatory or just plain rude :!:
That is OUR choice to do this, as to date it has not been done so much but at times this is the only way we have to keep the control in the chat room and keep the "stirrers" out so to speak.

I would also like to ask that if you are going to use the chat room PLEASE try and use your log in name Reviewom the forums or at least the same name that you are or wish to be known by.
I booted someone a couple of days ago whom I thought was being silly only to find out it was someone I knew very well - however they had come in under a different name

My point here is: If you are going to use our chat room to have FUN (& lots of it) please be respectful and follow the guidelines.
If you intened to just come in and stir and be a pain - then we will have no option BUT to boot you Reviewom the room. I guess thats why for 3 months we have had no major problems and we intend to keep it that way :!:

I think it is also worth mentioning that both the Chat room & the Cam room are used for entertainment purposes where we have formed quite a great little community & no one is being paid or pays to use these facilities. The ladies come in when they can, at their own leisure to be available to chat with everyone, to do so because they want to, not because they have to.
All we ask in return is please be respectful of everyone that uses the Chat room xx

If you are unhappy, and dont like what we speak about, discuss or the way we run the Aus-Babe Chat room then thats easy - log onto Yahoo Chat OR MSN Chat - you will find loads of Chat room there 8)

We are just mucking around in the chatroom...
I was also only playing around with my threads on getting booted out and banned..

Loved Colin's sidebar to it...funnay as, nice touch to Dae's related comment to it. lol

Do not take any of what I say or do in the chatroom, as serious. If I want a serious conversation, then ask a serious question, other than that I just like to play.

Nikki giving me a hard time is just some good Reviewiendly banter back and forth between each other, Yes, I am lucky that she takes the crap out of me, boots me out of the chatroom..I know you all want her to abuse you to.

No, seriously, it is all in good fun. (bitch)

Just like I am having a hard time, writing a serious post at the moment.

As for access to the chatroom, and having the server drop out. I had the same problem. I now only acess through irc.prison, now use ASDL and no longer have a problem.

There are various reason why connections drop out, but I can guarantee you there has only ever been one person other than myself who has ever been booted out of the chatroom.

Now about the rumours about Louisa and Buddy...well I don't want to coonfess up to everything all at one time..

You may be wondering why you are banned Reviewom a particular IRC server. :?:

Well, it's not you specifically. I believe the IRC service providers can and do block access to persistent troublemakers by blocking particular ranges of IP addresses. Due to the nature of dial-up internet, (requiring dynamic allocation of IP addresses), this is the only way they can block troublemakers :?

As Nikki has said, people are only booted by Aus Babe's moderators for offensive, insulting or otherwise inappropriate behaviour. If you play nice, you are more than welcome. :wink:
