Yes, you can go without visa, but inquire on the cuba board here about specifics. The new Bush passport Law was implemented to stop tourism to thye island, under the guise of terrorism and may prove difficult. Do an internet search for some of the travel boards. I remember there was one that was called the greenboard (afew years back), or better yet try the Lonely Planet's discussion board (Thorntree Board). It will provide you with everything you need and casa's post on there regularly and have websites. I found Cuba an absolute paradise for the sport, but I understand a crackdown is in efect....but that has been going on since 1998. You can also search under casa particulares in cuba for a place to stay and there are travel agencies that specialize in Cuba (Nash Travel in Canada, a friend had used them before and liked it). In the Casa's girls are welcome and most male casa owners will actually bring them to you. A friend of mine actually bagged the hot wife of a casa at a party the host threw for them, which her husband was okay with.... after staying there a week. Cuban's LOVE the fiesta.
I had 10 friends go, 2 married Cuban's and almost all want to buy places there. Have fun and figure a way to get there....it is worth it in all aspects.
